The same imap-account works fine in http://trojita.flaska.net/ .

akonadiconsole shows this:
AgentBase(akonadi_imap_resource_2): Select failed, server replied: A44 NO
Unknown namespace.
NotificationManager::notify ( Collection (37, .Sent) in collection 35 modified
parts (timestamp) )
AgentBase(akonadi_imap_resource_2): Select failed, server replied: A56 NO
Unknown namespace.
NotificationManager::notify ( Collection (35, .INBOX) in collection 34

Does Kmail2 support IMAP namespaces?

Fixed reload config for manual order
 (fixed in 4.7.4/master)

I guess you are still working on it? Then thanks for the update. I just
compiled current 4.7 branch again, but the issue is still there.

To me it seems that the problem is:

It is not possible to drag a folder and then drop it between two other folders
to rearrange it.
You just can move folders into other folders.

Now what happened to me while testing a minute ago is: I wanted to rearrange
the INBOX and accidentally dropped it into the Drafts folder. When kmail tried
to sync this change (IMAP) the server will have refused that change because
moving a root folder into one of its children is not really a good idea ;)

Now kmail (or akonadi?) lost all locally cached mails and just has started to
redownload everything... this will last some hours now.

[Bug 285167] New: Ability to disable Save to Sent Mail Folder feature

2011-10-28 Thread Chuck Burns
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=285167

Summary: Ability to disable Save to Sent Mail Folder feature
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.7
  Platform: FreeBSD Ports
OS/Version: FreeBSD
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: brea...@gmail.com

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS:FreeBSD

I would like to see the ability to disable the Save sent message to the Sent
Mail folder because, on some IMAP connections, the server will automatically
save them itself, which will result in duplicate messaged saved to the Sent
Mail folder. I am currently just not setting that folder, but would like to,
because it's driving my OCD nuts.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Use gmail imap, set the Saved Mail folder to the correct imap folder, sent an
email, look in Sent Mail now there are two copies of that sent email, one
saved by gmail's servers, one saved by KMail

Actual Results:
Duplicate emails present in the Sent Mail folder.

Expected Results:
No duplicates.

[Bug 285177] New: This is a wish for Akregator. A new feature

2011-10-28 Thread Pablo
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=285177

Summary: This is a wish for Akregator. A new feature

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS:Linux

Hi everyone!
I'm a KDE user and I think I've come up with something interesting to implement
in Akregator, though it might be kind of complicated.
Akregator is my favorite feed reader application and I usually find myself with
some repeated articles and news. It might not be exactly the same new, but the
message is practically the same.

My idea consists in a filter which identify similar articles, labels them as
duplicated and, this way, it may save user's time.

I think it would be something pretty innovative (I can't think of any reader
with this function) and useful. I'm also aware that implementing might be a
little tricky but I think the final result could be used even further than
Akrgator itself.

I hope you like the idea and thank you for your time :)

Reproducible: Didn't try

Amazings

[Bug 285195] New: dav resource complains about 401 error

2011-10-28 Thread Martin Tlustos
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=285195

Summary: dav resource complains about 401 error
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Unlisted Binaries
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: DAV Resource
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: martin.tlus...@gmail.com

Version: unspecified
OS:Linux

sometimes I get this error:
element can not be received - request resulted in error 401 (translated from
German.
Sometimes opening the resource and refetching all collections (7, Google
Calendar, but I had the same problem with another Caldav server) helps,
sometimes not. Sometimes restarting akonadi fixes the problem, sometimes not.

Heavy network/internet load seems to contribute to the problem, but I'm not
sure about it.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
add Caldav resource with several collections. Wait and work.

Actual Results:
At any time, the above error message can pop up - sometimes after half an hour,
sometimes it works for two days...

Expected Results:
no error message, it should work.

I think is not a duplicate. Identify two articles like similar I think is more
difficult than they were exactly equal.

But it's just and idea. :)

New crash information added by DrKonqi

akonadi_imap_resource (4.7) on KDE Platform 4.7.2 (4.7.2) using Qt 4.7.4

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I used the wizard to set up KMail for Gmail. This produced this bug. I then
tried several other things, like removing the account and setting it up
manually. Sometimes it fetches all mail headers, sometimes it doesn't, but it
crashes everytime. After the crash, KMail shows the mailheaders it has
retrieved, but it won't fetch the content or update mail folders. It just does
nothing (no error messages, for example).
I should perhaps add that I installed Kubuntu from the mac-iso.
