Hi,

Unfortunately this is a known limitation of the resource. Fixing this would
require changes into kdelibs to add the MKCALENDAR method, but afaik changes
are no longer accepted as all efforts go into the KDE frameworks.

Still setting the status to 'NEW', as this should be fixed, and hopefully will.

Cheers,
Grégory

Is the calendar usually displayed with an IMAP-Server icon?
Nope, the resource icon is a blue folder with a little earth on it in the
 lower right.
Sorry, got fixed on the Google calendar, probably because of the Summary.

My Yahoo calendar, which apparently contains the failing items, contains no
number in the range of 111000. All IDs are above 113000.

Not sure why this would pop up, but shouldn't be an issue.

 akonadi_davgroupware_resource_0(29490): Can't find a configured URL,
 collection.remoteId() is  akonadi_davgroupware_resource_0

Nope, not related to the deserialization issue. This has been reported in

4.9.3.

[Bug 295469] Unable to fetch item from backend when using caldav resource connected to google

2012-10-18 Thread Dennis Schridde
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=295469

--- Comment #25 from Dennis Schridde devuran...@gmx.net ---
(In reply to comment #24)
Do you have something else than a calendar in this resource, such as an
 addressbook?
There are 2 contact collections and 2 calendar collections in there. But only
one calendar contains anything (113000+ IDs).

An can you find these items in other resources?
How do I search for the IDs?

The output of akonadictl restart does no longer contain the Failed to parse
incidence! Item id messages anymore, at this time.

Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: johan.erla...@gmail.com
  Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Component: general
   Product: kmail2

I get a mail that uses the base tag. When i look at the links (hoover the
mouse over them) included in the mail i see that the base url is excluded and
file:// is used instead.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Send this mail using telnet or whathever:
html
  head
base href=http://bugs.kde.org/
  /head
  body
a href=test.htmllink/a
  /body
/html

2. Look at the mail in kmail. kmail is ignoring the base tag. and is adding
file:// prefix insted.

Actual Results:
link points to: file:///test.html

Expected Results:
link points to: http://bugs.kde.org/test.html

In akonadiconsole you have the 'DB Browser' tab. Select the 'pimitemtable' from
the drop down menu. However if you can't find them in the 'Browser' tab they
must have been re-created with a new ID.

Cheers,

[Bug 303861] Can't write CalDav items from korganizer

2012-10-18 Thread Harry Sinclair

--- Comment #19 from Harry Sinclair shadw...@hls3.com ---
My daily workaround is to bring up akonadiconsole and remove the blank
AccessRights attribute from the Calendar folder under the DavMail agent.

(In reply to comment #18)
 Hi,

Without access to an Exchange server this will be hard to debug
 unfortunately :/

If any of you can do a network capture of a full exchange between the
resource and davmail, please send it to me. Try to anonymize it as much as
you can, especially the HTTP headers that will contain the authentication
data. I'm mostly interested in the XML exchanges, not that much in the
events data, so you can scrap it altogether.

 Cheers,
 Grégory

[Bug 308625] New: Kontact crashes when moving email

2012-10-18 Thread Chris
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308625

Bug ID: 308625
  Severity: crash
   Version: 4.9.2
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
Summary: Kontact crashes when moving email
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: crgla...@gmail.com
  Hardware: openSUSE RPMs
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Component: general
   Product: kontact

Application: kontact (4.9.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.9.2 release 511
Qt Version: 4.8.3
Operating System: Linux 3.1.10-1.16-desktop x86_64
Distribution: openSUSE 12.1 (x86_64)

-- Information about the crash:
Kontact has been failing to send email via an MS Exchange Server IMAP account.
I have found that not using SSL or TLS the emails are sent. However the
unsent emails are still in the Outbox. When I delete them from the Outbox the
status indicator in the lower right part of the screen indicates moving. After
15 minutes this time with no response I canceled Kontact. When I tried to
re-execute Kontact I received this crash.

The SSL issue is getting frustrating. I have searched for fixes but am not
finding anything that works. Are we headed back to the early 4.9 releases?
Please tell me otherwise.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

2012-10-18 Thread Torsten Eichstädt
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308631

Bug ID: 308631
  Severity: crash
   Version: 4.9.2
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
   Summary: kontact crashes on close
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: torsten.eichsta...@web.de
  Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Component: general
   Product: kontact

Application: kontact (4.9.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.9.2
Qt Version: 4.8.2
Operating System: Linux 3.2.28 x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Closed Kontact. The main window was already closed. To get rid of a nasty
error message, I usually close Kontact or Akonadi that keep runnung in the
systray with right mouse - close. Then Kontact or Akonadi crashes
_sometimes_.
Hope the backtrace can help you.
Good night, =|o)

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
