[kmail2] [Bug 312460] Kmail can not show correct number of unread mails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312460 --- Comment #77 from Rigo Wenning --- (In reply to comment #74) It is not fixed totally, it is only less of an issue. If you are on imap and move messages from inbox to a folder and you go directly to that folder it only shows the messages you just moved. This is KDE 4.12.2 from KR packages on opensuse. Now click on the neighboring folder, wait 2 seconds and click back on the folder with the moved messages. All messages are displayed. Beforehand, one had to restart kmail2, now juggling folders is sufficient. But this isn't a fix. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[kmail2] [Bug 331396] New: Searching for unread message status fails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=331396 Bug ID: 331396 Summary: Searching for unread message status fails Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: Git (master) Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: grave Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: lindsay.mathie...@gmail.com Searching on message status = unread often never returns any results or returns entirely wrong results Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the Find Message Dialog 2. Specifiy All sub folders for a account root folder 3. Specify Message Status = unread 4. Click Search Actual Results: Usually no results are returned regardless of how many msgs are unread Sometime the previous result of an older unrelated search is returned. Once this happens it is impossible to get a serach to return anything else without restarting akonadi. Expected Results: A list of currently unread message should be returned. Searching in general is so broken and unreliable its hard to report it. None of the features are reliable. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[kmail2] [Bug 331389] New: Filtering old mails into folder while expiry is processing results in errors
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=331389 Bug ID: 331389 Summary: Filtering old mails into folder while expiry is processing results in errors Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: 4.12.2 Platform: unspecified OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: bluelightn...@bluelightning.org If you filter some mails manually, the filters result in mails being moved into folders with expiry rules set up, the messages are older than the expiry date for the folder, and the expiry processes while the filter is still in the process of moving the messages, you will get some notifications in the detailed progress area reporting "Failed to copy item, it has no message payload. Remote id: x". Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Possibly not easy to reproduce, but here goes: 1. Set up a filter rule that filters messages into a folder 2. Set the expiry on that folder so that some messages matching the filter would be expired if they were in the folder 3. Select the messages, right-click and Apply All filters 4. Open the "detailed progress" area in the bottom right [expiry for the folder needs to be processing at the same time, not sure how to trigger this but it happens periodically] Actual Results: You may see "Failed to copy item, it has no message payload. Remote id: x" in the notification in the detailed progress area. No other ill effects observed though. Expected Results: It seems to me that if one part of KMail knows that the expiry is happening then the filter moving ought to be able to handle when the "collision" occurs without reporting any errors (or not try to move the messages anymore?). This is with folders and messages on an IMAP resource with disconnected mode enabled. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
