[Akonadi] [Bug 336581] accidental database loss causes Akonadi / KMail to silently break correct folder assignments
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336581 Larx changed: What|Removed |Added CC||throwa...@online.de --- Comment #3 from Larx --- I have the same problem over several installations of KMail/Akonadi, with MySQL as a standalone server and with the dedicated MySQLd, and for **years** now. The bug appeares on different hardware, after reinstallation, etc. Sooner or later, with no discernible reason for me, Akonadi mixes up the folders. Suddenly the sent mail folder of one account is lost, for another account the trash folder is the inbox folder of another account, or, strange enough, an ownCloud CalDAV account becomes the outbox of an Imap account. Expire dates and so on also get messed up which leads important mails getting silently deleted. We are talking about *** data loss *** here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341998 Michael Kiefer changed: What|Removed |Added CC||michael-kie...@web.de --- Comment #4 from Michael Kiefer --- I experience the same behavior on kde 4.14.2 kaonadi 1.13.0 (Debian Jessie) with owncloud 8 as the server. It happens after resuming from suspend. In order to exclude the problem being caused by the fact that my $home and the configs in there have been growing for years, I created a new user. [kmail2] [Bug 78629] MS Exchange mail support
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78629 André Stein changed: What|Removed |Added CC||andre.stein.1...@gmail.com --- Comment #45 from André Stein --- I changed to Evolution because of this. My company doesn't allow IMAP on Exchange (which seems to be the default policy in a lot of companies) so I am either forced to use the OWA web interface or use Davmail. Both solutions aren't really options anymore for me because I prefer native applications to web frontends and Davmail has performance problems with rather big mail inboxes. Evolutions seems to have a very good EWS plugin (the official Exchange XML Api) and supports the calendar, mail and address book out of the box. I would really be happy to see the same support in Kontact/KMail/Akonadi whatever. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
