[kmail2] [Bug 354632] New: KMail network is not resumed. Connections remain offline.

2015-10-31 Thread Sudhir Khanger via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354632

Bug ID: 354632
Summary: KMail network is not resumed. Connections remain
offline.
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: sud...@sudhirkhanger.com

Whenever I open Kmail the connections remain offline. I have to do Ctrl+L every
time I open KMail.

I have set my account to go offline on shutdown and also do mail checkup on
start. The mail checkup on start doesn't happen and accounts remain offline.

Reproducible: Always

[akregator] [Bug 350911] Akregator stealing focus when minimized in tray with frequency equal to fetch interval

baschie Thank you for nailing this down to Akregator! This bug has been
causing me quite some frustration at work the last few weeks. I am almost sure
it is related to Akregator as you suggest.

I run Akregator from inside Kontact.
If I mark all my feeds as read, then mark a single post unread, use key
navigation to go to the next post, then back to the now last unread post there
is: Press right, then left, I immediately lose fokuse, when Akregator marks the
post as "read".

Really big annoyance when this also happens every time Akregator updates feeds,
and it is really hard to find out what causes the lost focus.

I hereby confirm the bug, and suggest to raise status a bit. I also guess this
can be fixed quite fast. I can provide more debug info if required.

I'm using Linux Mint 17.2 (bug also was in 17.1):

[kmail] [Bug 95064] Duplicates messages in imap folder after filtering

2015-10-31 Thread Rick Timmis via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95064

Interestingly, I have now configured Thunderbird for my Email. Whilst KMail
reports lots of Emails, in reality these duplicates are only notional entries
relative to Kmail. The emails are NOT duplicated on the IMAP server.

Screenshot of mass email duplication

Hi
This problem still exists.. please see Screenshot
I have Kmail 5.0.2 using through Kontacts 5.0.2 on Kubuntu 15.10

I have Kmail configured to an IMAP Server, running Debian and Courier IMAP,
running above Exim4.
Kmail has Server side subscriptions is disabled for this IMAP account.
I have set up Filters that Move messages based upon Subject, To, or Reply To.
The system is behaving almost as though it is in a loop. I checks the mail,
reports a 100+ new message, and states so many In Trash, and some to my mailing
lists.
Kmail seems to loop round on interval check and creates more and more
duplicates and then moves them according to the Filter Rules.

Kmail has Rinsed and repeated, over night which generated 27000+ email
duplicates.

Please advise, if you want more diagnostic data, as I have full access to the
Server and the Client

New crash information added by DrKonqi

akregator (5.0.2) using Qt 5.4.2

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

For me the crash occurs when I close the fancybox window after zooming in a
picture.
Other than that I am able to open HTML pages normally.

Thanks
So I confirm it works.
So it was fixed during 4.14.x you need to increase kdepim version.
