Sorry, I don't understand your question. Are you asking about the version of
KMail that I'm using? It's 4.14.10. (Isn't this KMail2? When I first started
it, it claimed that it was, and offered to migrate my old settings.)

[kmail2] [Bug 366709] New: Dialogs when importing old KMail filters need more context

2016-08-12 Thread Tristan Miller via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=366709

Bug ID: 366709
Summary: Dialogs when importing old KMail filters need more
context
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.14.10
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: psychon...@nothingisreal.com

When importing old KMail filters via Settings->Configure Filters->Import->KMail
filters, KMail2 may occasionally pop up "Select Account" or "Select Folder"
dialogs (see attached) asking for the user to provide some missing information.
However, the only context provided to the user is the name of the filter. In
many cases this is not enough information for the user to make a decision.
Users cannot be expected to remember exactly what any given filter does. And
even if they do, some filters have multiple actions that reference several
different folders, so there is no way of knowing which action KMail2 is
prompting them about.

Please redesign the dialog prompts so that they display all the original
details of the imported filter. Or if this is too complicated, just dispense
with the prompts, and provide the user with a selectable/saveable report of
missing information so that he or she can manually fix these filters after the
import process is complete.

Reproducible: Always

Git commit fab9fd5f804bdb54db16a1e51b3528b6036d0364 by Andre Heinecke.
Committed on 12/08/2016 at 16:05.
Pushed by aheinecke into branch 'master'.

Fix progress handling (for gnupg >= 2.1.15)

We finally have a solution for progress that works with Qt
data types and how kleopatra passes data to GnuPG. This
requires GpgME 1.7.0 and GnuPG 2.1.15 to work.

This also simplifies progress handling for that case as we
can finally use current and total values and GnuPG no longer
overflows in progress messages since 2.1.14.
