[kmail2] [Bug 354400] In Kmail 5.0.2 autocompletion only shows recent email addresses but not stored emails in Kaddressbook
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354400 --- Comment #64 from fl...@mailoo.org --- Can someone confirm the bug still being there for Kmail >5.3.0 (KDE Applications > 16.08)? Right now, we have only 2 people stating that it is fixed for these latter versions, so unless someone confirms the bug still being there, I think it's fair to say the bug is likely being fixed, but we'd need more confirmation to actually be sure. If you don't have 5.3.0 installed, the best way would be to fire up a live USB Neon image, set up your accounts and try to send an e-mail and see if the bug is still triggered. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kontact] [Bug 372517] New: Kontact crashes under wayland when started via krunner
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372517 Bug ID: 372517 Summary: Kontact crashes under wayland when started via krunner Product: kontact Version: unspecified Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Keywords: drkonqi Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: e...@softmetz.de Target Milestone: --- Application: kontact (5.3.3 (QtWebEngine)) Qt Version: 5.7.0 Frameworks Version: 5.27.0 Operating System: Linux 4.8.7-1-ARCH x86_64 Distribution: "Arch Linux" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: I start kontact under plasma wayland through krunner or the kde menu and after it shows up for half a second it crashes. - Unusual behavior I noticed: If I start kontact under X11 either way it works. If I start kontakt under wayland from a shell window it works two. So I guess it might require some terminal under wayland. I can also bg kontact after the start and it keeps running. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: Kontact (kontact), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/usr/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
