[Akonadi] [Bug 372236] Akonadi will not start

2016-11-27 Thread Etienne
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=372236

Found DENIED access reports in Syslog so I disabled mysqld-akonady profile in
AppArmor.
Found /var/lib/mysql-files not found trying to start "/usr/sbin/mysqld-akonadi
--defaults-file=/etc/xdg/akonadi/mysql-global.conf --initialize
--datadir=/home/titi/.local/share/akonadi/db_data/" manually
Installed mysql-server

Finally got an Unknown Error... Don't know where to look further.

Changing
"However, the password can be stored in the configuration file instead."
to
"However, the password can be stored in the KMail configuration file instead."
does that clarify what is meant here?

in a fresh install of openSuse 13.2 in a virtual machine Help > KMail Handbook
works for me and opens the KMail Handbook.
Do you have KHelpcenter installed?
