Still happens usually after a mail check is done on the interval I specified.

The bug still exists in korganizer (5.4.3) and kdepim 16.12.3. Whereas I have
not tested the 17.04.x versions of the same, I strongly doubt that the problem
is fixed. Nevertheless, I will update this bug as soon as fedora kde
applications packages are updated to match kde release.

When I have a chance I will also try to upload a video of this issue.

This is not a bug I'd be able to reproduce: it's something that happened one
time and I submitted it in the hope the backtrace would be useful. But by now
the code would have changed so much that investigating the backtrace is

You forgot to provide the most important version: that of KMail/Kontact. If you
still experience this problem, please state all relevant versions. Please note
that Plasma has another release cycle as KDE Applications, the latter of which
should have versions like 17.04.x right now, or 16.12.x when you reported the
bug. You can also state the version used by KMail itself, which would be 5.5.x
or 5.4.x, respectively.

Also, this might be graphics stack related, i.e. caused by Qt or your graphics
driver. Did you try to upgrade/replace either of them? What did you try? Did
anything help? Has the problem vanished since your report?

This bug has never been confirmed for a KDE PIM version that is based on KDE
Frameworks, except possibly a Technology Preview version 5.0.x. Those
Framework-based versions differ significantly from the old 4.x series.
Therefore, I plan to close it in around two or three months. In the meantime,
it is set to WAITINGFORINFO to give reporters the opportunity to check if it is
still valid. As soon as someone confirms it for a recent version (at least 5.1,
ideally even more recent), I'll gladly reopen it.

Please understand that we lack the manpower to triage bugs reported for
versions almost two years beyond their end of life.

I close as upstream. The Qt bug is closed by now. If the problem persists with
