This isn't expected for new users, but has been in Akregator and KMail since around 15 years. In Advanced settings for filters that mark and unmark selected emails as spam I have set two keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+J and Ctrl+K). But when I press those shortcuts the filter is not run.
