[kontact] [Bug 394633] New: How to delete home directory using kontact
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394633 Bug ID: 394633 Summary: How to delete home directory using kontact Product: kontact Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: contacts Assignee: to...@kde.org Reporter: au...@gangsto.cz CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Target Milestone: --- So I deleted my entire home directory using kontact. Here's how: I never used kontact before, but had .vcf files in ~/.local/share/contacts synced with vdirsyncer from a carddav server. This was before installing kontact and Akonadi. Now I decided to use Kontact and carddav directly, so I don't need those directories anymore, so I deleted them using the terminal and adjusted vdirsyncer config to not sync those anymore. I noticed the directories lingered in kontact, so i deleted it from the view there as well, and i restarted kontact. It proceeded to explode with error messages, and now my home directory was completely cleaned out. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 394554] Regression: kMail 5.8.1 Information Leak: kMail loads external references in HTML mails without asking
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394554 --- Comment #10 from Gunter Ohrner--- Created attachment 112825 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=112825=edit Message with which I can reproduce the behaviour. kMail will show the image referenced in the attached message file as soon as "render HTML content" is activated. None of the used mail addresses is contained in my address book. However, I also encountered HTML mails - in the same folder - for which I'm asked if I want to allow loading of external references. After confirming this once, it seems to be remembered by kMail for this message and I do not have to confirm it on subsequent displays. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[kmail2] [Bug 394599] New: KMail generates duplicate requests when opening URL
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394599 Bug ID: 394599 Summary: KMail generates duplicate requests when opening URL Product: kmail2 Version: 5.8.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: misc Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: florian.lind...@xgm.de Target Milestone: --- Hello, I've come to notice an problematic behavior of KMail (and probably of other KDE applications, too) of opening URLs. My systems default browser is Firefox. When I click on a link in a mail, KMails seems to do a request, followed by Firefox: some IP - - [04/Feb/2018:20:50:17 +0100] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 5200 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) KHTML/5.42.0 (like Gecko) Konqueror/5 KIO/5.42" same IP - - [04/Feb/2018:20:50:18 +0100] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 5200 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0" I wonder why KMail at all is doing a request in contrast to just handing the URL over to the browser. This behavior can be problematic with verification tokens, e.g. I wasn't able to complete an ordering process with hetzner.com until I copied/pasted the link to Firefox. It also breaks the Discourse Forum one-click update, Eurowings booking informationen and account confirmation at senderscore.org. [kmail2] [Bug 394554] Regression: kMail 5.8.1 Information Leak: kMail loads external references in HTML mails without asking
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394554 --- Comment #9 from Gunter Ohrner--- Addendum: This menu entry is in the same state (unchecked, but greyed-out) for the other folder in which external references are *not* loaded automatically.
