[kmail2] [Bug 397968] New: Arrow symbols to expand and contract recipient lists are interchanged
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397968 Bug ID: 397968 Summary: Arrow symbols to expand and contract recipient lists are interchanged Product: kmail2 Version: 5.9.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: UI Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: kishor...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- When we view an email with lots of recipients in the 'message preview' pane, or the dedicated 'read message' window, the list of addresses in the 'To:' field is contracted. Currently, a 'left-pointing double arrow' is displayed when the list is contracted, and a 'down-pointing double arrow' is displayed when the list is expanded. I feel that the display should actually be inverted, i.e. the symbol diplayed should indicate what the button will do, rather than indicating the current state. This makes sense since this is a clickable element that performs an action (similar logic is used for play/pause buttons in music players, for instance). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Akonadi] [Bug 396573] Akonadi is utterly broken for an IMAP account since 5.8.2
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396573 --- Comment #5 from Martin Ottmar --- I'm pretty sure, I've tried all three interesting methods ("Čistý text", "PLAIN" and "LOGIN") for all encryption methods (None, SSL/TLS and STARTTLS). And the PLAIN method was the preferred one. No any combination is working now, with the new akonadi 18.08/5.9.0 (Good news everyone, the google account is broken now! :-D ). I looks like any combination I choose is ignored completely, and it uses the same default with the same result. BTW: What is the difference between methods "Čistý text" and "PLAIN", if any? If I try to set STARTTLS/PLAIN (None/PLAIN / STARTTLS/PLAIN) and then I drop the mentioned iptables output rule, and to renew the incoming manually, the follow mouse policy method makes the desktop unusable, and the network traffic skyrockets immediately. Sometimes, within this hell, I'm able to see the strange window mentioned above for a moment, but it disappears immediately. [kontact] [Bug 385847] Kontact crashes on restart
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385847 --- Comment #2 from Christian --- Created attachment 114634 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=114634=edit New crash information added by DrKonqi kontact (5.8.3) using Qt 5.9.6 - What I was doing when the application crashed: I started Kontact from the start menu because it had disappeared from the screen when a new email was arriving. The crash message appeared when Kontact was starting up, with the main window visible on the overview screen. -- Backtrace (Reduced): #7 0x7fb3ebe05d77 in QtWebEngineCore::NetworkDelegateQt::OnBeforeURLRequest(net::URLRequest*, base::Callback const&, GURL*) () from /usr/lib64/libQt5WebEngineCore.so.5 #8 0x7fb3ecb92556 in net::NetworkDelegate::NotifyBeforeURLRequest(net::URLRequest*, base::Callback const&, GURL*) () from /usr/lib64/libQt5WebEngineCore.so.5 #9 0x7fb3ecc992fb in net::URLRequest::Start() () from /usr/lib64/libQt5WebEngineCore.so.5 #10 0x7fb3ec18a9f0 in content::ResourceLoader::StartRequestInternal() () from /usr/lib64/libQt5WebEngineCore.so.5 #11 0x7fb3ec18ab00 in content::ResourceLoader::StartRequest() () from /usr/lib64/libQt5WebEngineCore.so.5 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
