I set the height of my Composer window to full-height for my screen. KMail used
to save the height, but now it opens at half height consistently. New message,
Reply, Forward - it doesn't seem to matter.

[Akonadi] [Bug 398191] akonadiserver crashes from time to time since upgrading to 18.08

Created attachment 114761
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=114761=edit
New crash information added by DrKonqi

akonadiserver (5.9.0) using Qt 5.11.1

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Akondi crashes when I startup my machine within about 15 seconds of my logging
in and opening my KDE Wallet, no matter what I do -- whether Kmail is open or
not.

When I restart it, it runs for a while and crashes again. Every time I open
Kmail and browse emails, it crashes within less than a minute.

[Akonadi] [Bug 398191] New: akonadiserver crashes from time to time since upgrading to 18.08

2018-09-03 Thread Pieter David
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398191

Bug ID: 398191
Summary: akonadiserver crashes from time to time since
upgrading to 18.08
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 5.9.0
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: server
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: pieter.da...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: akonadiserver (5.9.0)

Qt Version: 5.11.1
Frameworks Version: 5.49.0
Operating System: Linux 4.18.5-arch1-1-ARCH x86_64
Distribution: "Arch Linux" (akonadi 18.08.0-1 package recompiled for debug
symbols)

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
It's hard to say what triggers the crash, other than "kmail activity" (mail
sync, browsing email folders). The frequency goes down when I set my gmail
account to "offline", but it still happens from time to time.

- Custom settings of the application:
I have several IMAP accounts, two of which (one gmail, one work-related which
uses a microsoft exchange server) have quite a lot of messages.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

[korganizer] [Bug 398186] New: Multiple items crowd each other - would be nicer is they could overlap

2018-09-03 Thread davidblunkett
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398186

Bug ID: 398186
Summary: Multiple items crowd each other - would be nicer is
they could overlap
   Product: korganizer
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: agendaview (weekview)
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: dav1dblunk...@hotmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

In kcal I frequently have overlapping items - in google calander these present
nicely because the boxes overlap and the text is organised so they can all
(mostly) be read.

In kcal the appointments don't overlap so that they become very narrow in the
columns and you can't read anything.
