[kmail2] [Bug 413240] New: Crash on start: Unable to obtain agent type ''

2019-10-20 Thread Bart Ribbers
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413240

Bug ID: 413240
Summary: Crash on start: Unable to obtain agent type ''
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: bribb...@disroot.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

I'm trying to package KMail for Alpine Linux, but it crashes on start with the
following error:

org.kde.pim.mailcommon: "The Email program encountered a fatal error and will
terminate now.\nThe error was:\nUnable to obtain agent type ''."
org.kde.pim.akonadicore: Failed to request resource "" : "Cannot connect to the
Akonadi service. (Unable to obtain agent type ''.)"

Not sure if it matters in this case, but the system uses Musl rather than
glibc.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Just try to run KMail on Alpine Linux

OBSERVED RESULT
Crashes on start

EXPECTED RESULT
Not to crash

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Alpine Linux Edge
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.63.0
Qt Version: 5.12.5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a Musl based system, so glibc is not available.

[kmail2] [Bug 413229] New: Unable to copy an email address on right click

2019-10-20 Thread Attila
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413229

Bug ID: 413229
Summary: Unable to copy an email address on right click
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.11.2
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: bugs.kde.att...@online.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
It is not possible to copy the "From" email address on right click in the inbox
of an email. When I change to the folder "Sent" and do the right click on
"From: Me" the entry "Copy Email address" appears in the context menu but it
copies the email address "To:".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch KMail and open your inbox.
2. Do a right click on the "From" address to see the context menu.
3. There is no "copy email address".
4. Sometimes it appears the entry "copy email address" randomly (with a little
luck).

OBSERVED RESULT
Can't copy the email address from the sender in the inbox.

EXPECTED RESULT
It must be possible to copy the email address in the inbox on right click of
"From:"

2. Go to the site "https://kde.org/; for example and copy the word
