I don't use CardDAV but you don't have messagebox when it's not transferred ?

Done

> CTRL + S = Save current contact

> CTRL + F = Select search field

We have ALT+Q as in kmail etc.

> CTRL + Page Down = Next tab in Edit Contact(Contact -> Location -> Business,
> Personal, ...)

We have CTRL+ arrow right

> CTRL + Page Up = Previous tab in Edit Contact (Personal -> Business ->
> Location, Contact)

We have CTRL+ arrow right

> CTRL + W = Close Edit Contact dialog

Press ALT => you can see which shortcut it uses => for Ok => ALT+O

> ALT + Number = Select Tab via number starting at 1 (Like Mozilla Firefox)

We don't do it in kde

2023-08-09 Thread sourcemaker
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=473226

Bug ID: 473226
Summary: Feature: Use original image without size reduction
Classification: Applications
   Product: kontact
   Version: 5.23.3
  Platform: Archlinux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: contacts
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kde-bugzi...@aschoettler.com
  Target Milestone: ---

When adding the profile pictures (contact, business), the image size is
automatically reduced.
Can this behavior be disabled in the settings?

I am aware that this can make the vCards very large.

If contacts cannot be transferred to the CardDAV server (Radicale), the user
will not receive any information.
As a user, I therefore never know whether my contacts have been successfully
transferred or not.

Suggestion:
Brief display, whether all contacts were successfully transferred to the server
or not.

[Akonadi] [Bug 473193] New: loading folder content very slow

2023-08-09 Thread Martin Tlustos
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=473193

Bug ID: 473193
Summary: loading folder content very slow
Classification: Frameworks and Libraries

  Platform: Neon
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: EWS Resource
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: martin.tlus...@gmail.com
CC: c...@carlschwan.eu, kri...@op.pl

SUMMARY
Sometimes loading the folder content for my inbox is very slow (minutes), of
even not working at all.
When trying to do SHIFT-F5, the following error appears:
"Unable to fetch item from backend (collection -1) : Unable to retrieve item
from resource: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote
application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the
reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."
Accessing outlook.com works, so it should not be a problem with internet
connection (I live in a country with unstable internet).
