Also seeing this, my temporary work around was to downgrade libkgapi to the
previous version 23.04.3-2 which also downgraded a couple of other packages,
kdepim-runtime* and kf5-kmailtransport-akonadi.
Not ideal but works for me.

[kontact] [Bug 474088] New: Kontact crashing during system idle

2023-09-03 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=474088

Bug ID: 474088
Summary: Kontact crashing during system idle
Classification: Applications
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: stakano...@libero.it
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: kontact (5.24.0 (23.08.0))

Qt Version: 5.15.10
Frameworks Version: 5.109.0
Operating System: Linux 6.4.11-1-default x86_64
Windowing System: X11
Distribution: openSUSE Tumbleweed
DrKonqi: 5.27.7 [KCrashBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
Kontakt was open normally in the main user desktop, the session was X, the
program was the only open one.
While waking up the screen from a lenghty period of idling (about 1 hour) the
program had already crashed and Konqi opened.
Crashing during idling happened in the past on this system.

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.
