2024-04-23 Thread k . schlaf
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=486020

Bug ID: 486020
Summary: Akonadi crashes while importing a kmail achive file
(4.9 GB)
Classification: Frameworks and Libraries
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Maildir Resource
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: k.sch...@t-online.de
CC: c...@carlschwan.eu
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: akonadi_maildir_resource (5.22.3 (22.12.3))

Qt Version: 5.15.8
Frameworks Version: 5.103.0
Operating System: Linux 5.14.21-150500.55.52-default x86_64
Windowing System: X11
Distribution: "openSUSE Leap 15.5"
DrKonqi: 5.27.9 [KCrashBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
After starting the ImportWizard (Klarälvdalens Datakonsult) in kmail to import
a kmail archive file (4.9 GB), the import process appears to run smoothly.
After about an hour, the progress bar shows that just over 60% of the archive
file has been imported. Suddenly the ImportWizard window disappears and KDE
reports that Akonadi has crashed.
Distribution: openSUSE Leap 15.5; KDE-Plasma vers. 5.27.9; Qt vers. 5.15.8;
working memory 15.5 GB; LENOVO ThinkPad T420

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.

Please provide at least a screenshot so we can know what "unreadable" means in
this context.

The format of date and time displayed in KOrganizer is controlled by your
locale settings, you can configure it in System Settings -> Region & Language.
If the time format in KOrganizer doesn't match what you have configured in
System Settings, please provide also screenshot of the System Settings page, so
we can try to figure out what's wrong.
