[Akonadi] [Bug 340015] Filter rules no longer matching after upgrade
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=340015 --- Comment #11 from Jean-Baptiste Mardelle --- This issue should be fixed by my git commit (24th of october): http://commits.kde.org/kdepim/01764b0eb3c7b7407f3119ef711d5b07d7b9a313 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Akonadi] [Bug 339576] Can't create new top level IMAP folder
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=339576 --- Comment #5 from Jean-Baptiste Mardelle --- Some additionnal infos: * When I add a new IMAP account in KMail, I can create new top level folders * However, closing & re-opening KMail disables the top level folder creation. Based on my previous comment, I think there is a flag issue with the "MERGE" command implementation, but debugging it is beyond my skills. I can provide test IMAP accounts if a developer needs to reproduce the bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. [Akonadi] [Bug 339576] Can't create new top level IMAP folder
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=339576 Jean-Baptiste Mardelle changed: What|Removed |Added CC||j...@kdenlive.org --- Comment #3 from Jean-Baptiste Mardelle --- I am also seeing this issue since KMail 4.14. Creating a top level folder in an IMAP account is impossible. This worked correctly in KMail 4.13.3 After recompiling various kdepim* versions, I found the commit that caused the regression in akonadi. This commit introduces the regression and makes it impossible to create top folders: https://projects.kde.org/projects/kdesupport/akonadi/repository/revisions/70a3bef2d3b2ed9c11b141a3278ae8d1ae651aba Hope it helps solving the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Akonadi] [Bug 340015] Filter rules no longer matching after upgrade
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=340015 --- Comment #8 from Jean-Baptiste Mardelle --- I found the commit that introduced the regression: https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdepim/repository/revisions/9614da012753032a89014c65fd89bd1daae4a467/diff/mailcommon/search/searchpattern.cpp How to reproduce for me (Using an IMAP account): Before this commit, I can do the following: 1- Delete all KMail filters 2- Create a new filter on a mailing list (move message to folder) 3- Apply filter on a mail that matches the mailing list Result: it works After this commit, if I do the same: 1- Delete all KMail filters 2- Create a new filter on a mailing list (move message to folder) 3- Apply filter on a mail that matches the mailing list Result: it doesn't work, message is not moved. However, if I now do the following: 4- Create a new filter on a "to" field (move message to folder) Now, step 3 works (applying the mailing list filter). Deleting the filter created on step 4 breaks again the mailing list filter. Now, let's hope you understand my explanations... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Akonadi] [Bug 340015] Filter rules no longer matching after upgrade
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=340015 --- Comment #4 from Jean-Baptiste Mardelle --- After some additionnal testing, it works if I create a filter on the "To" field. If a "To" filter exists, filtering works correctly, even my "list-id" filters. However if there are only "list-id" filters and no "To" filter, filtering does not work. So it looks as if when only "List-id" filters exist, filtering is not triggered... hope it helps. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 288467] improve filtering process for notification
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=288467 Jean-Baptiste Mardelle changed: What|Removed |Added CC||j...@kdenlive.org --- Comment #1 from Jean-Baptiste Mardelle 2012-01-07 12:57:01 --- Issue still there on KDE 4.8 RC2, and I would rather mark it as a bug than a wishlist. Using KMail 4.8 RC2 with an IMAP accout. The notification message is saying 1 new message in Account/Folder Most of the time, the message is moved to another folder by a filtering action and the notification messages says "new message in Inbox", but so there is nothing new in inbox which is confusing. Sometimes, thought the notification displays the correct folder. So I guess there is some kind of race condition between the filter job and the notification job. Would be better to wait for all filtering jobs to be finished before triggering the notification. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

I habe been using KMail from KDE4 svn trunk for a while now with disconnected IMAP accounts. I updated my svn 3 days ago and my accounts disappeared when I restarted KMail (I also had my disk full to be honest). But since then, everytime I recreate my disconnected IMAP accounts, they disappear when restarting KMail. POP imap are saved correctly...
