[kmail2] [Bug 418618] New: Wrong identity selected when replying to mailing list
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418618 Bug ID: 418618 Summary: Wrong identity selected when replying to mailing list Product: kmail2 Version: 5.13.2 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: composer Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: sgd.or...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When replying to some mails, I assume mostly mailing lists Kmail uses default (or just wrong) identity instead of the identity for the account in which the mail is located. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have multiple identities / accounts 2. Reply to mailing list email which has assigned NON default identity 3. Observe OBSERVED RESULT Kmail selects wrong identity. EXPECTED RESULT Kmail selects some identity assigned to current account. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Artix Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.67.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1 Kernel Version: 5.4.22-1-lts OS Type: 64-bit -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 417242] New: Message is rendered as unread even when read
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417242 Bug ID: 417242 Summary: Message is rendered as unread even when read Product: kmail2 Version: 5.13.1 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: message list Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: sgd.or...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 125719 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=125719=edit Message list SUMMARY Messages are sometimes always rendered as unread (even context menu show thinks they are unread since it offers option to mark them as READ, which has no effects) even when read and the count for unread messages beside the folder is 0 (not displayed) STEPS TO REPRODUCE Honestly no idea, it just happens. I have set message view as: Message List > Theme : Classic Message List > Aggregation : Current Activity, threaded I think the bug shows when the message is a reply to some other mail. OBSERVED RESULT Message rendered as unread when not counted as unread, while being unable to mark it as read. (The option is in context menu but has no effect) EXPECTED RESULT Message is properly rendered & marked as read. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Artix Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.66.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1 Kernel Version: 4.19.98-1-lts OS Type: 64-bit ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Sometimes I use Android K-9 Mail to browse my mails when KMail is not active, than I mark the mails back as UNREAD for KMail to run filters on them as on new messages e.g. move them to different folders. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417240 Bug ID: 417240 Summary: Report bug dialog selects wrong (default) version when opening bugzilla Product: kmail2 Version: 5.13.2 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: sgd.or...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY [Menu > Help > Report Bug > Launch Bug Report Wizard] opens bugzilla page to write a bug report. One of the things it sends to the bugzilla is a product version. The version displayed for me is: 5.13.1 (19.12.1) Which is technically correct and much better for humans. When send to bugzilla it looks like: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided=kmail2=5.13.1%20(19.12.1) But bugzilla has no idea about such version and selects some default one instead. What it should look like: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided=kmail2=5.13.1 Which bugzilla can recognize. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Artix Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.66.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1 Kernel Version: 4.19.98-1-lts OS Type: 64-bit ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Please play with this if you wish for better bug reports. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

When replaying to a message with KMail it is using my sk_SK locale to print date. Which results in mixed language in one email. Example: > On nedeľa 12. januára 2020 18:40:00 CET x...@yy.zz wrote: STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set some locale for your date and time 2. Reply to e message in different language 3. Observe OBSERVED RESULT My system locale is used, when i would expect to use english. EXPECTED RESULT Ability to set preferred locale for the identity / account / mail filter. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Artix Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.65.0 Qt Version: 5.14.0 Kernel Version: 4.19.88-1-lts KMail: 5.13.1 (19.12.1) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It is pain to rewrite those reply messages so I always keep them as the KMail sets them. I have same account which I use mostly with different language than my default one and this would be very handy. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
