The name containing the umlaut is being replaced by an equal sign. But only the name itself, not the whole name tag. So the result was then Martin =. While another E-Mail owner “A. Schäfer” is completeley replaced by an equal sign (although his first name does not contain an Umlaut). The E-Mail address itself (the part after the name in brackets) is not copied at all. The Configure Keyboard shortcut dialog should only be modal to the main window. Since this dialog is available in almost any KDE application I think this can occur in various places and is not only valid for KMail. Kopete instantly reports when there are any new mails in the WLM mailfolder. KMail only know of new mails when it has checked for (2 Minutes interval set). So I get a notification from kopete that there is new mail in my hotmail account, then I go to kmail and manually refresh mails to get it.
