[kmail2] [Bug 485715] New: update count in unified mailboxes don't always get updated
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=485715 Bug ID: 485715 Summary: update count in unified mailboxes don't always get updated Classification: Applications Product: kmail2 Version: 6.0.2 Platform: Neon OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: folders Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: martin.tlus...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I have unified mailbox set up to show inbox, sent mail, drafts, templates and spam. I have two google accounts and one office 365 account. When opening gmail web and marking a message in the spam folder there as "not spam" (where it gets moved into the inbox folder), the changes are reflected in my normal folders, but the unified mailbox still shows the unread number, although it doesn't show the message anymore (because it has been moved to the inbox). Minor stuff, but still a bug. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. have an unread message in google spam folder 2. open gmail and mark this message as "not spam" 3. in kmail, right click on according gmail account and select "update all" OBSERVED RESULT Message count gets updated accordingly in original folders, but not in unified mailbox folders (the inbox folder gets updated, as there is one more message now). EXPECTED RESULT the unread count numbers should update as well. [kontact] [Bug 476975] New: After restarting akonadi, email columns are messed up
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=476975 Bug ID: 476975 Summary: After restarting akonadi, email columns are messed up Classification: Applications Product: kontact Version: 5.18.2 Platform: Neon OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: mail Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: martin.tlus...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY After waking up from sleep, akonadi fails to connect to its mail servers and stays offline even if I click "fetch mail" (another bug report already opened). I have to restart akonadi (close kontact, "akonadictl stop", wait for all processes to stop, then restart kontact) to make it connect again. Now, when using "akonadictl stop" and then restarting kontact, the columns in mail are messed up, all crammed together on the left side. I have to right-click on the column header bar and select "adjust column sizes". It's minor, but annoying. I haven't checked with kmail standalone yet. *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols.
