[kmail2] [Bug 395724] New: Kmail doesn't add signatures to reply automatically

2018-06-21 Thread Raghavendra kamath
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395724

Bug ID: 395724
Summary: Kmail doesn't add signatures to reply automatically
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.8.2
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: ra...@raghukamath.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I have all the checkboxes checked in the configure kmail > composer > general
and signature section. But when replying or replying all, Kmail doesn't add my
signature to the message automatically.

The work arround is to add %SIGNATURE in the standard reply template.

Kmail should add signature when replying/replying all, when the option for
adding signature automatically is checked, without the need to edit standard
template.

I am using kmail 5.8.2 on arch linux
plasma version is 5.13.1
kde framework version is 5.47.0
Qt version is 5.11.1

Extremely sorry to bother you, but may I know where and what "here" is ? which
distribution, which version of kmail etc. so that i can see if it is just me,
it will help me diagnose the problem and install if something is missing.

Is there a way to troubleshoot this issue.

I can show you the video of this bug(which is happening in my system) if you
want.

thank you
