I am the person who reported this bug.

The point is, it works for some time (hour or two, 3 or 4 emails sent), then,
no matter if using GMail or Exchange, it just stops to send them.

In the most of the time the emails stays in Outgoing folder, rarely it says

--- Comment #2 from Tom Kijas <t.ki...@gmail.com> ---
It's because two-factor authenticator is in use. WORKAROUND is to generate
app-specific password. Why? Why cannot it use the same way to login as IMAP?

I used Kmail with our gmail (google account on my domain) without problems for
2 years.

Now, on 3 my computers, it says "server error" when trying to send email.

Downloading emails using IMAP works properly

Sending them is not possible. SMTP is set-up properly.

Terrible situation as all computers in our company use KMail.

KMail cannot embedd used font.

1. Create signature and use specific font
2. Send email with that signature, everything looks fine to you
3. Recipient, although is HTML enabled, see your signature with proper size,
but generic font

What to do: include font (used characters)

2016-06-28 Thread Tom Kijas via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364875

Bug ID: 364875
Summary: Kontact - adresses etc. synchronise to google only
once
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: contacts
  Assignee: to...@kde.org
  Reporter: t.ki...@gmail.com
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

Kontact - contacts synchronise to google contacts only once, after I add google
account to Kontact

After I add google account, synchronisation works -> kontact.
After I import new vcf contacts, synchronisation works -> google.
After I edit or create or delete contact, synchronisation DOES NOT work.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Kontact, switch to contact adress book
2. Add new adress book (google)
3. Edit or create new contact

Actual Results:
Does not synchronise

Expected Results:
-

Ubuntu 16.04 64bit, KDE5 (latest backports), Kontact 5.1.3

I use Kubuntu 11.10 (oneiric 64bit) and still getting this error, purging
~/.kde folder doesn't help, I am nearly mad of it...

Hi, I started KMail 2.1, it downloaded my mail from gmail automaticaly, (I use

I am adding a screenshot.
I think it is related to fact that I upgraded kdepim to latest, because also

Feel free to ask me please, I do not know what other info I should place here.

Hi, I start KMail, check some mails, it works flawlesly but after some minutes,
akonadi (Akonadi server self-test) report -bug?- and kill the KMail. Second
start of KMail is OK and works without problems, problematic is just first run
of kmail after restart. I'll put here backtrace from Akonadi.
