[kmail2] [Bug 369416] New: regression: can no longer drag and drop email addresses from message headers

2016-09-27 Thread jos poortvliet via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369416

Bug ID: 369416
Summary: regression: can no longer drag and drop email
addresses from message headers
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.3.0
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: jospoortvl...@gmail.com

I often create emails to a group by dragging the names from an open email into
the composer window but this no longer works. You simply can't drag email
addresses anymore... Right now, all I can do is click each name, select-paste
from the 'to' in the new composer which opens into my other composer window,
then close the window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. view an email
2. try to drag the email address of the sender or somebody in (B)CC
3. Observe how nothing happens

Actual Results:
You can't drag and drop

Expected Results:
you can drag and drop

[kmail2] [Bug 271000] Bring smart rewrapping from KNode to KMail ;-)

Laurent, perhaps you feel like doing this, considering KNode really is gone
now... Or is KMail deprecated?

Memory usage is still high but has become far better. And: Akonadi Next should
have FAR better memory usage by design, so let's close this one.

KMail has become far more reliable - perhaps not perfect but I haven't had
issues in months. Great work, everybody!

[Akonadi] [Bug 356747] New: Akonadiconsole crashes on a specific folder

2015-12-15 Thread jos poortvliet via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356747

Bug ID: 356747
Summary: Akonadiconsole crashes on a specific folder
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: akonadiconsole
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: jospoortvl...@gmail.com

Today my Inbox folder suddenly became grayed out and I couldn't open it
anymore. I restarted Akonadi, which didn't help. Checked out the folder with
AkonadiConsole which crashed about 2 seconds in loading the folder, and keeps
doing that.

After restarting KMail, shutting down Akonadi and restarting it all, I can see
and enter the inbox again in KMail. Akonadiconsole keeps crashing upon entering
the Inbox folder, hope the backtrace is helpful.

Note that it doesn't crash on any other folder.

It is a disconnected IMAP account using Kerio on the server.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Akonadiconsole
2. open the Inbox folder
3.

Actual Results:
Crash

Expected Results:
no crash

Application: akonadiconsole (0.99)

Qt Version: 4.8.7
Operating System: Linux 4.3.0-2-default x86_64

Same on openSUSE Tumbleweed, but KMail version 4.14.10
Platform Version 4.14.14
Qt4 4.8.7
(Qt5Core 5.5.1)
I also, as added fun, suddenly can't access my Inbox anymore. It has
disappeared from my favorites and is greyed out. This started, like, 1 minute
ago, I was just doing a search and replied to an email.
