I also experienced that error many times. Recently I proposed some workaround
for that https://invent.kde.org/pim/akonadi-calendar/-/merge_requests/11 - I
don't know Akonadi code at all so it's really hard for me to find quickly
better solution but I hope this can help to get rid of that problem. Please
check and let me know what do You think about it.

Hi All,
this also happens to me - after this happens the calendars are not visible in
korganizer anymore. After restarting they are shown again. It makes the
KOrganizer unusable.
I have 2 google resources. There are Warnings in
- One fails with Error while handling command DeleteItems
- There is Failed to retrieve collection for sync: "Collection does not exist"
- for Contacts it would seem
- There is also Bad Request, Google replied '"Contacts API is being
deprecated

Is there anything i can do to help?
Thanks!

Same issue here. When it happens all of my Google Calendar items are missing.

Opening the Google Groupware config dialog in Korganizer and pressing OK or
Apply without changing anything makes everything reappear.

Experiencing the same issue.

Running korganizer within kontact.

The frequency of the issue has increased after getting the latest version of
the app: korganizer-21.08.3-1

When it does happen I get hundreds of pop ups and the system stops responding.
I can only close the app by switching to a tty (Ctrl + Alt + F2) and killing
it.
The massive amount of pop ups causes the k11 process to use 100% of CPU.
Perhaps I'm seeing more messages than most as my google calendar has got
subscriptions from a few other calendars from other people.

The very last time it happened today I was not interacting with korzganizer at
all, rather browsing the internet.
Also, the very last time it happened I had no choice but to issue sudo reboot
from the tty as the system would not come back from the freeze/stuck.

Since it happened twice today I have removed the calendar for now.

Most recently, killing `korganizer` closed half the windows, and killing
`korgac` killed the other half. Both processes (re)start when you launch
korganizer anyway, so I figure that's fine.

I'm getting this lately, too (on Debian testing). Sometimes it's 4 windows,
sometimes it's 63. To save RSI, I've found that if you have grouping enabled on
the taskbar, you can close a bunch at once by right-clicking on the taskbar
group. Doesn't close all of them, but for 63 windows it only takes about 6
clicks.

Weird. This happened again to me today. I tried killing korgac, but that didn't
do anything. However, *today* killing korganizer worked again.

Also, I should note that I get this error on three different systems. Not all
of them have a Google calendar linked, so it's probably not specific to that
either. (FWIW all do have Nextcloud calendars linked.)

It just happened to me. The process you can terminate to remove all messages is
korgac.

This seems to be occurring more regularly now, maybe twice a week. It happened
two days ago, and indeed killing `korganizer` removed all the popups. However,
yesterday I had ~100 popups, and my system froze for at least 2 minutes.
Eventually I regained control, but this time killing `korganizer` had no
effect. I also tried `akonadictl restart`, but this didn't help this time.

I think you can close them all by simply terminating the KOrganizer process.
