Still an issue on 5.6.1: First two characters work fine, but 3rd character - no
match - crashes Kmail

The crash is in the xapian libraries (which are used for searching). If this is
reproducible, could you please run in terminal, and show the termination
message?

I deleted ~/.local/share/baloo/ and ~/.local/share/akonadi/search_db/, which
*did not* solve the problem
