[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1982679] Re: Lenovo T16 unable to wake up from sleep, screen blinking
sleep issues seem to have been fixed using the N3MET08W update: https://fwupd.org/lvfs/devices/com.lenovo.ThinkPadN3MET.firmware however touchpad is still affected and not fully fixed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1982679 Title: Lenovo T16 unable to wake up from sleep, screen blinking Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Lenovo T16 Gen1 (2022), Intel Core i7-1270P (12 gen) integrated graphics. Running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Unable to wake up from sleep - the screen backlight is on, but the screen is solid black. After a while it starts randomly flashing with a login screen for about ~300ms and also each time I type a character. Also the "reboot" command hangs. Tried with both "Suspend-to-Idle" and "Linux S3" suspend settings in BIOS - same issue. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1989298] Re: amdgpu nullptr and video freeze
The problem occurred again and I ran apport-collect. This time I watched 2/3 of an approximately 6 hour video at 3x speed. I paused, resumed, and seeked frequently. The last thing that happened was me pausing the video, leaving my desk, and then returning. After coming back the video was replaced with a black screen. This black screen also happens on Intel CPU + Intel GPU but it's always recoverable upon resuming playback. I think the bug here is that the AMD GPU can also recover from the black video but not always. Anyway, once I sat down, I either seeked or I used the mouse or 'k' key to resume. The cursor actually froze this time. SSH continued to work, and that's how I ran apport-collect. CTRL+ALT+F1 did nothing this time, not even bring me to a blank TTY, and SYSRQ R+E+I+S did not help and only caused some disk activity and killed my ssh. sshd did not automatically restart after SYSRQ but SYSRQ S+U+B was able to reboot the system. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1989298 Title: amdgpu nullptr and video freeze Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: # The majority of kernel bug are hardware specific so be sure to note what hardware/device is being used. - AMD RX 460 2GB - Dual but different ASUS monitors - Android ADB, but it always worked alone and was idle for 1 hour prior to the problem # Document any known steps to reproduce the bug. - Cold boot no hibernate - ADB stuff 2 hours before - Mesa is 22.1.7~kisak1~j - google-chrome-stable started with '/usr/bin/env LANGUAGE=ja_JP:ja LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 /usr/bin/google-chrome-stable --enable-features=WebUIDarkMode,VaapiVideoDecoder --disable-features=UseChromeOSDirectVideoDecoder --force-dark-mode %U' - Watching a twitch.tv stream at 3x speed at source (1080p) resolution (VDAVideoDecoder/vaapi) maximized on left DVI monitor - Konsole with `sensors` on right HDMI monitor - Locked screen for 5+ minutes with stream on - Unlocked screen then tried to play/pause stream a few times. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1947464] Re: Touchpad of Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch Keyboard is wrongly recognized as a mouse
For me, the problem still exists and has not magically disappeared after 60 days of inaction by Canonical. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1947464 Title: Touchpad of Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch Keyboard is wrongly recognized as a mouse Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: Hi The following problem has existed for years on Linux or Ubuntu. As the title of the bug report suggests, the touchpad of a Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch Keyboard [1] is wrongly recognized as a mouse. Touchpad features like scrolling, tapping, etc. do not work at all. As requested in the DebuggingTouchpadDetection [2] guidelines, I have gathered and attached the required hardware information. I hope this helps to fix this annoying problem that has been going on for years.
