Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi,

I'm using ubuntu 14.04 amd64 with all latest updates. But the bug also
  appeared in 12.04 I think.

My external USB Harddisks / USB Storage-Devices are only getting
recognized after suspend. But not after a normal boot.

In Windows 7 they are always recognized. So there is a bug.

  What information do you need?

USB HDDs are only getting recognized after suspend

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi,

I'm using ubuntu 14.04 amd64 with all latest updates. But the bug also
  appeared in 12.04 I think.

My external USB Harddisks / USB Storage-Devices are only getting
recognized after suspend. But not after a normal boot.

In Windows 7 they are always recognized. So there is a bug.

  What information do you need?

Title:
USB HDDs are only getting recognized after suspend

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi,

I'm using ubuntu 14.04 amd64 with all latest updates. But the bug also
  appeared in 12.04 I think.

My external USB Harddisks / USB Storage-Devices are only getting
recognized after suspend. But not after a normal boot.

In Windows 7 they are always recognized. So there is a bug.

  What information do you need?

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1374095] Re: USB HDDs are only getting recognized after suspend

2014-11-19 Thread 8200
apport information

** Tags added: apport-collected qiana

** Description changed:
