[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1322644] Re: [Dell XPS 13 (L321X)] External monitor does not wake up after sleep

2014-10-17 Thread Aldo
I recently got a Dell U2414hb monitor, and it is affected by this bug.

I would really appreciate if someone has found a fix and is able to
explain in simple steps how to do it.

The steps above sound a bit advanced for me, but I am willing to try
things out if it will help.

I tried:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

And I got:
A07

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1314621] Re: 0a12:0001 [Lenovo G580] Bluetooth Dongle (Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd) doesnt work on ubuntu 14.04

2014-08-18 Thread Aldo Nogueira
I have tried kernel 3.14.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 and then hci0 was finally up
and I could connect it to my old wiimote, but since my main goal was to
connect to the new Wii U pro controller and it didn't pair, I decided to
buy a new bluetooth adapter. This time, I reverted the kernel to the
default 3.13. It worked fine and paired with the controller as well. To
my surprise, both adapters get listed as the same model with lsusb:

$ lsusb | grep Bluetooth
Bus 002 Device 005: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle
(HCI mode)
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle
(HCI mode)

When listed with hciconfig, hci0 is up, hci1 is down and any attempt to
initialize it gets an Operation not supported (95)
