[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1607806] Re: [Dell Inc. Latitude D830] suspend/resume failure

2016-07-29 Thread Cal
I rarely use the Suspend function at the end of a session. I tried it a
few days ago by clicking on suspend in the Menu, instead of clicking on
Shut Down as I usually do.

The issues started the next time I started from a complete shutdown.

I do not feel comfortable using the kernel related suggestions.

thanks

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1295693] Re: Quallcomm Atheros Killer E2200 does not show packet count

2014-04-29 Thread Cal
Yes, it looks like the issue still exists there. I downloaded the daily
ISO on 4/28, booted to the live environment, fired up my eth card,
pinged google, and it still showed 0 packets send receive.

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1295693] Re: Quallcomm Atheros Killer E2200 does not show packet count

2014-03-21 Thread Cal
*YES*!!! I tried out the linux-
image-3.14.0-031400rc7-generic_3.14.0-031400rc7.201403162235_amd64
kernel and the packet counts were incrementing correctly. (Including
gkrellm and other bandwidth tools)

I reverted back to 3.11 because it busted my video driver. But I at
least confirmed the bug is fixed there.

When can I expect the 3.14 kernel to make it into the Saucy
distribution?
