I was able to get my failed Virtualbox-4.3.20 to complete its install by downloading and manually installing dkms from Vivid. In about 8 attempts, once observed display corruption on resume rather than black screen, and one successful resume. Previously experienced similar problems in Lucid with fglrx and radeon. Have not yet tried fglrx in Saucy. Blaming radeon driver due to identical experience on Lucid with same video card on different motherboard (Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H).
