[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1620636] Re: Fails to pair with Bose QC35 headphones
Hey, I'm also having troubles trying to use my QC35 II, after dunno how many different attempts to pair it that I'm not even able to describe, I finally was able to pair it, but I was not so lucky to actually connect it. Here I attach the chunk of btmon output I get on every attempt to connect ** Attachment added: "bose-qc35-connect.snoop" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez/+bug/1620636/+attachment/5034102/+files/bose-qc35-connect.snoop -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to bluez in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1620636 Title: Fails to pair with Bose QC35 headphones Status in Canonical System Image: In Progress Status in bluez package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: I am unable to pair the Bose QC35 BT headphones with Ubuntu, either Ubuntu desktop running 16.04 LTS with bluez 5.37 (also tried bluez 5.41 from installed from yakkety archive), nor using Ubuntu Touch rc- proposed build for Turbo #174. I'm trying to pair through the normal bluetooth control panel brought up through the bluetooth indicator. I've attached some logs that show it failing to pair. Re: [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1495458] Re: Black screen when resuming after sleep
I have reported the bug upstream but I have no answer from the kernel maintainers. In the meantime my workaround was to install las kernel 4.1 from Ubuntu Kernel Archive. Cheers. Gaston. More tests confirm that it's not Intel or graphics related. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1495458] Re: Black screen when resuming after sleep
Hi Christopher, is something in the debugging info I've uploaded telling you the problem is related to the intel driver? As I said before the very same problem is showed up using the nouveau driver. Maybe I should try it again using nouveau driver together with the latest kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1495458 Title: Black screen when resuming after sleep Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: I have a fresh install of Kubuntu Wily Beta 1. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1495458] Re: Black screen when resuming after sleep
I've tried suspending with pm-suspend, shutting the lid and pressing the power button as both are set to suspend in power management settings. And I tried resuming opening the lid and pressing the power button. All methods with the same result, the laptop is suspended but when I want to resume the power light turns on but the screen is black and I cannot connect over ssh either. So it's worse than a graphics related issue. Following the steps in DebuggingKernelSuspend page I was able to resume after suspending with the command: `sudo sh -c "sync && echo 1 > /sys/power/pm_trace && pm-suspend"` WiFi wasn't enable after resuming but I was able to enable it manually . I'm attaching my *wakeup* and *dmesg* as advised by the debugging guide. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1495458 Title: Black screen when resuming after sleep Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I have a fresh install of Kubuntu Wily Beta 1. My laptop is a Dell XPS 15 with a Nvidia video. I tried both drivers nouveau and nvidia with the same result. I can reproduce the error ALWAYS, when I put the laptop to sleep it wont resume, I can see the power light and the keyboard backlight turning on as if it will wake up, but then just a black screen. I cannot even switch to a terminal (Ctr+Alt+F1), the only solution it to restart. The problem is not only when sleeping, it also happens when the screen is turned off by Power Management.
