Having this same issue on my Dell Latitude 7490 with latest BIOS as of May 2nd (1.9.3). TB16 firmware is also up-to-date. If there is any info I can get from my system let me know. I'm willing to share any logs.

Keyboard stops responding frequently. There is no output in dmesg when this happens. If I later unplug the keyboard I see a disconnection message in dmesg and I can reconnect it to the same port. Sometimes it works for a day after this, other times it works for <60s. Other devices disconnect too but the pattern is different.
