[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1752772] Re: r8169 ethernet card don't work after returning from suspension
This issue affect me. The problem occurs after a resume from suspend, BUT, restart DON'T SOLVE, I need to choose POWER OFF. IMPORTANT (I believe): I'm running in dual boot Ubuntu/Windows 10. If I RESTART on WINDOWS 10, without POWER OFF, network does not work, also. I need to RESTART. I believe that something is setted on HDW LEVEL. The WOL default change might cause regression for users that depend on BIOS settings. We can advice them to use userspace tool (systemd, ethtool, etc.) instead. ===Original Bug Report=== I have noticed that the network stopped working on my desktop after I've suspended the system and woke it up.
