[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1538710] [NEW] USB devices do not work after booting with mouse plugged on Dell desktop
Public bug reported: I have a Dell Inspiron 3647 SFF and after updating to Ubuntu 14.04 mouse and keyboard stopped working after boot. They don't work even if I unplug and plug them again. However, both devices work if I unplug them before turning the machine on and plug them later, when the system shows the login screen. I noticed that if I keep the keyboard connected and only disconnect the mouse during boot, the keyboard works and after the boot and the mouse works when I connect it. I suspect this is the same issue as in bug 1437004 and I posted a new report after advice from the Ubuntu team.
