[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1366248] Re: [Intel D54250WYK] Wireless Dropped Connection Intel 7260.HMWG
I upgraded the wireless drivers for my router and the problem went away (2+ days uptime now). Still perplexing why it was re-introduced in the first place, and even more perplexing why wireless drivers on my router would fix it. Anyway, it seems like the root cause for the re-introduction of this bug may be extremely difficult to hunt down. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1366248] Re: [Intel D54250WYK] Wireless Dropped Connection Intel 7260.HMWG
I upgraded the BIOS to latest per suggestion, and the connection is still dropping and periodically asking to re-input my wireless password (initial behavior from initial bug). [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1305305] Re: 8086:08b1 [Sony VAIO SVP1321M2E] Wifi keeps dropping.
I'm having the exact same issue on an Intel NUC. Intel NUC D54250WYK w/ Intel 7260.HMWG on Ubuntu 14.04 - Constant dropped connections. I also can't seem to lock onto a 5GHz signal, but that's probably another issue altogether. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1305305 Title: 8086:08b1 [Sony VAIO SVP1321M2E] Wifi keeps dropping. The solution given here (http://askubuntu.com/questions/368671/ubuntu-13-10-wifi-not-re- connecting-after-suspend) worked for me but when I have updated my Ubuntu now it won't work. I have tried to test mainline kernel but it won't to boot with it. To reproduce the bug : just suspend the computer and then power it. There's no wifi network until you restart the computer. I then have a frozen background-artwork-only graphic screen for the 1st user session. No alt-ctl-f1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and so on. I have not yet tested if I am able to ssh into the machine after it hangs. Please advise of any additional info or tasks needed. I am currently away on leave but shall be able to attend to instructions from you re this matter from 2nd last week Jan'14 onward.
