The rtw88 is rewritten from out of tree driver, so ideally they should be the same. Have you tried the out of tree driver on this platform? /sys/module/rtw88_pci/parameters/ if they are set properly.

After booting, please check /proc/cmdline to see the setting take
effect.

I own an Asus TUF A15 FA506IV laptop with Ubuntu 21.10. After putting
it to sleep it discharged. Turning it back on the Wireless cards
doesn't work.

Could you tell me your version of Ubuntu kernel by 'uname -a'? The first message, "rtw_8821ce :04:00.0: timed out to flush queue 2", means the buffered data isn't transmitted properly. I think this isn't a big deal. The second message, "rtw_8821ce :04:00.0: firmware failed to leave lps state", means firmware doesn't respond the request of leaving LPS. The reason may be firmware is too busy at that moment, but it can work well, no? An alternative way is to use 'iw [dev] set power_save off' to turn off this function. I plan to add a quirk to make someone who uses the same laptop can use Linux smoothly. My propose method is to fix ASPM issue by driver instead. So, don't apply "pcie_aspm=force pcie_aspm.policy=performance" to kernel parameter, but add a file /etc/modprobe.d/rtw88_pci.conf with below content options rtw88_pci disable_aspm=1 (Sorry, disable_aspm=0 in #17 is typo) Then, power-off (ensure wifi card is power-off as well) and power-on. Status in gcc: New Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-384 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Running fine with nvidia-384 until this kernel update came along. When booted into the new kernel, got super low resolution and nvidia- settings was missing most of its functionality - could not change resolution. Rebooted into 4.4.0-112 kernel and all was well. The root cause of the problem has been found to be installing the -116 kernel without a sufficiently updated version of gcc. In my case, my system received the gcc update AFTER the kernel update. Uninstalling the -116 kernel and reinstalling it with the updated version of gcc solved the problem for me.
