[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1114281] Re: ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_station : Could not get rate (-1)
forgot to add that my wifi card is a BCM4313 (same as the bug reporter), and this is a bug introduced with the upgrade of broadcom drivers, so this is indeed a duplicate of bug 1097519, although that bug should have a better title explaining that the bug is because of the privative driver and not because Ubuntu is using the wrong one, as wl should work for BCM4313. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to bcmwl in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1114281 Title: ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_station : Could not get rate (-1) Status in “bcmwl” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Since update to 3.2.0-37 wireless is broken. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1097519] Re: Wrong driver used for older Broadcom chipsets
Can we get a title that describes better this bug? Like bcmwl 6.20 update breaks for BCM4313? [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1114281] Re: ERROR @wl_cfg80211_get_station : Could not get rate (-1)
I have this bug in Kubuntu 13.04, I couldn't connect to the wireless networks at my university (with my home wireless it worked fine) with my syslog full of those error msgs and several stack traces. This was with the broadcom privative wl driver, I switched to brcmsmac and now is working fine.
