Bug description:
  I have two USB disk devices that don't work anymore when I updated to
  Saucy.

  The first is a plain USB stick, which prints this into dmesg:

Jussi Pakkanen, regarding the plain USB stick, could you please unplug all USB 
devices from your computer, plug in only this USB device, immediately place the 
following in a terminal and attach the results:
lsusb -v  lsusb-v.log
