Public bug reported: My Bluetooth adapter has worked partially and sporadically, until I found out that I should get btusb to load before ath3k, in #922715, by adding this to /etc/modprobe.d/ath3k.conf: install ath3k modprobe btusb; modprobe --ignore-install ath3k; which allowed me to see it on and also scan/be searched.
However, after hibernation and subsequent resume, the Bluetooth device is off again, and it is missing from hcitool dev and rfkill list. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242941 Title: AR3012 does not come back up after resume from hibernation Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: My Bluetooth adapter has worked partially and sporadically, until I found out that I should get btusb to load before ath3k, in #922715, by adding this to /etc/modprobe.d/ath3k.conf: install ath3k modprobe btusb; modprobe --ignore-install ath3k; which allowed me to see it on and also scan/be searched.
