I could not even login to the graphical user interface of Ubuntu 12.04/13.04 x64 using this computer after installation. So I couldn't test the Suspend in that version. However, Graphical interface was working properly during installation of both those versions. Earlier I had tried to install the 64 bit Ubuntu 12.04 and 13.04 on the same computer. In both cases, the installations were successful but the display was not initializing after restart. I had similar problem when I tried to install Fedora 64 bit on the same system. After these failures, I installed Ubuntu 12.04 (32 bit) and it was successful. I tested the following three mailnline kernels listed in the page http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=N;O=D v3.16-rc5-utopic/ v3.15-rc2-trusty/ v3.14-trusty/ All of them failed to boot, but booting is possible in recovery mode. Sunil V S, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page (not the daily folder) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags: kernel-fixed-upstream kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested.
