I run the 3 commands and it still did not work.

But during the apt-get install -f it told me to do apt-get
autoremove

I did it, and it fixed all my problems.

I have no longer error during apt-get upgrade.

'/boot/vmlinuz-3.16.0-31-generic.dpkg-new': unexpected end of file or stream

  I already try to do this :
  sudo apt-get clean

You may need to run the following from a terminal:

sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

Then re-install the package.

If that does not resolve your issue, please mark the bug as Confirmed
