the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the
results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-

That patch originated from someone in the community and thus was not
something my team directly submitted. It's not a critical patch at the
moment but something we'd like to have. I'll reach out to the maintainer
to see why he didn't pick it up.

While comparing the pre-merge cxlflash SAUCE patches in Wily to upstream
in Xenial (current as of Linus
bd4f203e433387d39be404b67ad02acf6f76b7bc), I noticed that 'UBUNTU:
SAUCE: (noup) cxlflash: a couple off by one bugs' did not make it
upstream. I've applied to it Xenial for now, but perhaps this oversight
needs some attention ? I don't see it staged in linux-next either.

  Patch 1 sends a link reset for port1 following a login timeout error. This 
same fix was delivered previously for port0.

  Patch 2 provides feedback to applications so that they may know when
  it is acceptable to perform an I/O retry for a virtual LUN.

  These patches are not yet upstreamed but will be as part of the 4.4 'rc'
