[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1572723] Re: Dell XPS 9350 Reboots upon resume with the latest 4.4.0-21 kernel update
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream stable kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.4 stable kernel[0]. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'. If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'. Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed". Thanks in advance. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1572723] Re: Dell XPS 9350 Reboots upon resume with the latest 4.4.0-21 kernel update
I just booted windows and re-applied the new BIOS (1.3.3) and the new Thunderbolt Firmware so I am all caught up on the BIOS and firmware settings on the board. I also nuked all the HD and re-installed Ubuntu from scratch. I just retested it and the crash still happens when you close the lid or issue a suspend commend using the UI.
