I no longer use Cinnamon, I still use Blueberry, and it works with 4.7rc3. OK got the computer to boot with the mainline kernel. Not only does bluetooth audio not work, but now Cinnamon crashes on startup, and I've lost my dual head setup. Both my audio headsets will connect, and they show up in the sound dialog box as options, but they cannot be selected as options, the dialog box that lets use choose between hsp or ad2p still says analog stereo, and if I test the sound, it comes from the speakers. I am using ubuntu 16.04LTS with the 4.4.0-23-generic kernel. I am using Cinnamon 3.0 with Blueberry as my bluez frontend.
