To increase the bandwidth available for Bluetooth, please also try to
avoid using 2.4GHz wifi networks. And use 5GHz instead (or wired).

I'm not sure if bluez can do anything about this.

First, please check that you haven't left the Bluetooth settings window
open since doing so can cause problems (scanning for new devices limits
bandwidth for existing devices).
