[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1860123] Re: bionic/linux: 4.15.0-76.86 -proposed tracker

2020-01-24 Thread Khaled El Mously
Only 2 bugs remain unverified for this kernel:

1858815 PAN is broken for execute-only user mappings on ARMv8
1859522 use-after-free in i915_ppgtt_close

The first isn't easily verifiable and should just be ensured to not cause any
regressions.
The second issue is unverifiable unless the kernel is rebuilt - so should have
no risk on the kernel itself as it is.

After discussing with Tyler Hicks about the risks of those bugs, they
are deemed non-risky to release unverified.

Manually setting the status of verification-testing to "Fix released"

** Changed in: kernel-sru-workflow/verification-testing
Status: In Progress => Fix Released

[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1860123] Re: bionic/linux: 4.15.0-76.86 -proposed tracker

2020-01-22 Thread Marcelo Cerri
At the moment we can't fix/hint that the network-manager MISS in our ADT
testing. The problem is that a new version of network-manager was
published to updates and later reverted. That caused our automation to
still expect tests with that version. I'm flipping the ADT task manually
because of that.
