[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1860253] Re: After kernel upgrade, the screen has got stuck when in running programs on GUI.
Hi Kai-Heng, First of all, I'm sorry for the late response.. and.. I may need to tell you that I'm just a user, not a developer. It is hard to install new kernel for testing to me. Also, I have no skill for GRUB bootloader. I beg your pardon. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1860253] Re: After kernel upgrade, the screen has got stuck when in running programs on GUI.
Hi everyone, I did upgrade kernel packages to 5.3.0-28 yesterday and boot up with it. Unfortunately, however, still nothing... So, I switched back the kernel to 5.0.0-37. In my thoughts, this is caused by entire 5.3.0 kernel... [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1860253] Re: After kernel upgrade, the screen has got stuck when in running programs on GUI.
Hi there, FYI: I'm not sure, but maybe my PC is also affected from the same problem. Freezing and unresponsive for some Minutes. Then working again for some Minutes. I did not find any useful in the log-files. But switch back Kernel from 5.3.0-26 to 5.0.0-37 seems to fix this. [Kernel-packages] [Bug 1860253] Re: After kernel upgrade, the screen has got stuck when in running programs on GUI.
Hi, Ubuntu I did try to run the command as you told, but failed. Because the command tried to open up a new browser window but didn't work and got stuck. I want to provide the logs to reproduce the symptom but, can't for that reason.
