Title:
graphical problem after kernel update to 5.15.0-89.99

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Dear all,

after updating from Kernel 5.15.0-76.83 to 5.15.0-89.99 I face a graphical
problem after startup.
I can see the Linux mint logo at startup und for some seconds the cursor.
Then all I see are lots of flickering colorful vertical lines on the screen and
all I can do is turn off the laptop by pressing down the power key. My
workaround at the moment is going back via timeshift and not updating to this
kernel 5.15.0-89.99.

  Description: Linux Mint 21.2
  Release: 21.2

  Hardware:
  HP Laptop 17-ak011ng (AMD A6-9220 Radeon R4)

Many thanks in advance for your help.

  Best,
  Thomas
