under "View" change 'Grid Properties' to 25 mils or experiment with
different grid sizes until it aligns.
something keeps getting reset.

It is better to post these types of issue to the issue tracer rather than
the developer list so that they can be properly tracked and addressed.

[Kicad-developers] eeschema unusable for two or three days

2020-09-12 Thread BERTRAND Joël
Hello,

I'm using kicad 5.99 (built from sources on a Linux workstation) :

Version: (5.99.0-3320-g30a428677), release build
Libraries:
wxWidgets 3.0.5
libcurl/7.72.0 GnuTLS/3.6.14 zlib/1.2.11 brotli/1.0.9 libidn2/2.3.0
libpsl/0.21.0 (+libidn2/2.3.0) libssh2/1.8.0 nghttp2/1.41.0 librtmp/2.3
Platform: Linux 5.7.0-2-amd64 x86_64, 64 bit, Little endian, wxGTK
Build Info:
Date: Sep 12 2020 09:39:20
wxWidgets: 3.0.5 (wchar_t,wx containers,compatible with 2.8) GTK+ 3.24
Boost: 1.71.0
OCC: 7.4.0
Curl: 7.72.0
ngspice: 29
Compiler: GCC 10.2.0 with C++ ABI 1014
Build settings:
KICAD_SCRIPTING=ON
KICAD_SCRIPTING_MODULES=ON
KICAD_SCRIPTING_PYTHON3=ON
KICAD_SCRIPTING_WXPYTHON=ON
KICAD_SCRIPTING_WXPYTHON_PHOENIX=ON
KICAD_SCRIPTING_ACTION_MENU=ON
BUILD_GITHUB_PLUGIN=ON
KICAD_USE_OCC=ON
KICAD_SPICE=ON

Recently, I have seen that wire tool in eeschema is unusable. Start and
end point of wires are automatically connected to objects (other lines,
other wires...). I haven't found any option in configuration to adjust
this new functionnality. The only way around the problem is to have a
very high zoom level. Is it possible to return to the previous state?

Best regards,

JKB
